What to expect

Apartments in Rothesay vary, but most offer a double bedroom, a living area with sofa and TV, a kitchen with basic cooking facilities, and a bathroom. It is the flexibility that matters most: breakfast when you want it, space to spread out, and a base that feels more like home than a hotel room.

Self-catering usually works out better value than hotels for stays of three nights or more, especially if you are happy to cook some meals. Stock up at the Co-op or local shops in Rothesay, or treat yourself to fish and chips on the front.
